NBC’s On Her Turf began as a social movement, spotlighting women athletes who were often sidelined in mainstream sports coverage.
Originally launched as a social campaign during the 2018 Winter Olympics, the initiative grew into a full editorial brand. Our role was to help shape its next chapter: designing a visual identity that could carry its momentum into a scalable, multi-platform presence.

The colour palette is inspired by the turf - the courts, on which sportswomen train, compete, and leave their mark.
Line markings from different sports surfaces inspire the foundation of the identity - the graphic device, used in a way to frame and celebrate these exceptional athetes.
